Brief Introduction
DP-2W direct-acting pressure reducing valve is a reliable pressure control device for water medium. Adopting direct acting structure, it responds quickly to pressure fluctuation. It is a cost-effective solution for building water pressure control, favored by engineering contractors and system integrators.
Application
DP-2W is a direct-acting pressure reducing valve specially engineered for cold and hot water applications. It maintains consistent outlet pressure across a wide flow range from low load to full flow. It is widely used in medium and high-rise building water supply systems, reducing pressure from high-pressure risers for individual floors. Besides building water distribution, it is also suitable for pressure stabilization of piping systems directly connected to water pumps and boiler feedwater pipelines. This valve protects downstream pipelines and terminal equipment from excessive inlet pressure, avoiding pipe burst and component damage.
Features
- Specially designed to regulate water supply pressure from high-pressure risers to separate floors in high-rise buildings.
- Compact and lightweight construction, requiring minimal installation space.
- Flexible installation: can be mounted horizontally or vertically.
- Once properly calibrated, it delivers steady and constant outlet pressure automatically.
- Broad pressure adjustment range and stable flow characteristics under fluctuating working conditions.
- Convenient maintenance in narrow spaces: internal parts can be accessed by removing only the valve bonnet without detaching the whole valve from pipeline.
- Built-in spring-loaded orifice effectively absorbs pressure surge and prevents water hammer.
- Linear flow path reduces turbulence, minimizing operational noise during running.
